FEATURES

Amazing technology to offer maximum control and handling in all conditions, while preserving all the values that made the Scrambler unique. Speeds never reached before, thanks to a powerful engine inherited from the Monster 1100.

TRACTION CONTROL

DUCATI TRACTION CONTROL

DTC is the electronic system of active security, developed by Ducati, that measures and controls the rear wheel’s slip. The traction control is adjustable on 4 levels and disconnectable.

CORNERING ABS

CORNERING ABS

Bosch ABS Cornering is the missing piece in the braking systems puzzle. Thanks to the intertial platform, the Bosch Cornering ABS can identify to what extent the bike is leaning and regulate the pressure of the braking system, preventing any so-called “downside” or a crash caused by the locking of the front of the bike. State-of-the-art level technology that allows artificial intelligence to override the human brain, especially when it comes to braking at full lean.

RIDING MODES

3 RIDING MODE

The Riding Modes offer the option of adapting the bike’s riding behaviour to all kinds of roads and rider’s styles. The 1100 has 3 different Riding Modes: Active - that offers full engine power and a limited traction control; Journey - with a smoother connection to the full power and appropriate throttle responses; City - that cuts the power down to 74 HP with the smoothest power delivery possible.

DESMO 2 ENGINE

1079 cc with Desmodromic distribution, 2 valves per cylinder and electronic fuel injection, this engine can dispense a 63 kW (86 hp) @ 7,500 rpm power. Its strength is a constant and reliable torque of 88 Nm (65 lb-ft, 9.0 kgm) @ 4,750 rpm.

INERTIAL PLATFORM

Heart of the electronics package, along with the control unit, that can identify the bike’s exact position in space, and to what extent it is leaning, accelerating and braking. It allows technologies such as the Ducati Traction Control and the Brembo braking system, that features a Bosch ABS Bosh Cornering 9.1 MP, to function precisely even while at full lean.

LED HEADLIGHT

Unique element of the Scrambler 1100 is the rounded front headlight, common to all the Scrambler bikes, but enriched by an aluminium frame. Inside, an an innovative cross that features Ducati's logo and that divides the (Daytime Running Light) creating the typical light segment of the Land of Joy’s bikes.

LCD DASHBOARD

The dasboard is the result of an attentive study, that brought to the creation of this two element instrument: one, is circular, the typical of all the Scrambler models, and an additional elongated one that is allowed to show more informations, including the gear and fuel indicator. All LCD.

SIX SPEED TRANSMISSION

Wet multiplate clutch with hydraulic control with servo-assisted slipper function that limits rear wheel destabilization during down-shifting.

TUBULAR STEEL TRELLIS

Fully embracing the self-expression mood of the Scrambler brand, the sub-frame can be unbolted for easier customisation. Made out of aluminium, and is enriched by a shiny moulding and combined with the mudguard, completed with LED indicators and hazard lights.
